A very big welcome to Madderty Primary School. Our unique location provides a rich environment for learning and teaching. One of our distinct features is our strong sense of ethos in our small, rural community. All pupils, staff and parents are highly valued and actively encouraged to contribute to the life and work of the school. Learning is at the heart of everything we do and we strive to promote achievement for all.
Our school serves a wide catchment area, not only providing learning experiences for pupils in the village of St David’s but also Crieff, Abercairny Estate, Balgowan and Methven areas.
We are a non-denominational, rural school with children ranging from P1 to P7. There are three composite classes: P1/2/3, P3/4/5 and P5/6/7. Children enter our school from a number of local Partner Provider nurseries. Upon leaving, P7 children continue their learning at Crieff High School.
