This is shared at parent consultation meetings and with pupils.<\/p>\n<p data-adtags-visited=\"true\">There are eight curricular areas \u2013 Expressive Arts, Health and Wellbeing, Literacy,\u00a0 Mathematics, Religious and Moral Education,\u00a0 Social Studies,\u00a0 Sciences and Technologies.\u00a0 Many of these areas are taught in conjunction with others and not as discrete subjects.<\/p>\n<h4>Our Curriculum at Logierait<\/h4>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\" data-adtags-visited=\"true\">At Logierait\u00a0pupils from Nursery to P7 will be taught across the different curricular areas using a variety of different approaches, and involving pupil interests and ideas.\u00a0 We recognise the varied learning styles of our pupils and appreciate the need to provide a balanced and interesting curriculum.\u00a0 As we develop what and how we teach, careful consideration is given to the main principles behind A Curriculum for Excellence.\u00a0 These are<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>challenge and enjoyment<\/li>\n<li>breadth<\/li>\n<li>progression<\/li>\n<li>depth<\/li>\n<li>personalisation and choice<\/li>\n<li>coherence<\/li>\n<li>relevance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Support for Learning<\/h4>\n<p data-adtags-visited=\"true\">All pupils are supported with their learning.\u00a0 Sometimes it is necessary to provide some additional support\u00a0 for a variety of different reasons.\u00a0 Our Support for Learning teacher, class teachers and pupil support assistants identify and provide this support as required. We also work very closely with a wide range of health and social work colleagues to provide support which meets the needs of all our children.
