Glenlyon is situated in Highland Perthshire, twenty one miles from the nearest town of Aberfeldy.<\/h2>\n<p>The glen is widely known as Scotland\u2019s \u2018longest, loneliest and loveliest\u2019 glen, and our school is situated half way up Glenlyon at Bridge of Balgie. Our school has been extensively redeveloped and we also have an \u2018Outdoor Learning Classroom\u2019, which was funded by our Parent Council and local community. Active and experiential learning is key to our curriculum, and we particularly love to learn outdoors through our weekly Forest Schools programme, using the beautiful woodlands on our doorstep.<\/p>\n<p>We worked hard to create this website and use it to give the &#8216;Big Picture&#8217; of our school and our learning.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Welcome to Glenlyon Primary School And a very warm welcome to our website!
