P6/7’S WONDERFUL WW2 ASSEMBLY

Hi bloggers,

We’ve had another brilliant week. Our sharing assembly was the best. It started in a bomb shelter with two children who had never been in a blitz before. All of the other people in the shelter were telling them about the blitz and how everything was rationed, but after the bombing the two children’s gran’s house might not be there anymore! After that it’s about children leaving their mums and going off to the country.

At school we have been learning Scottish dances with our PE teacher Mr Ainsworth. We learned the Flying Scotsman, the Gay Gordons and other Scottish dances.
