{"id":101,"date":"2021-05-25T12:31:21","date_gmt":"2021-05-25T11:31:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/pk\/dunbarneyprimary\/?page_id=101"},"modified":"2023-02-28T14:20:11","modified_gmt":"2023-02-28T14:20:11","slug":"parent-pay","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/pk\/dunbarneyprimary\/parent-pay\/","title":{"rendered":"Parent Pay"},"content":{"rendered":"<header class=\"entry-header\">\n<h1 class=\"entry-title\">Cashless School \u2013 Using ParentPay<\/h1>\n<\/header>\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<p>From August 2019 Dunbarney Primary School is a <strong>Cashless School<\/strong>.\u00a0 Payments for items such as dinner money and school trips can only be paid for using ParentPay which is a secure website where you can pay online using your credit or debit card.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What does ParentPay do?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>enables you to pay for school meals and other items such as school trips<\/li>\n<li>offers a highly secure payment site<\/li>\n<li>gives you a history of all the payments you have made<\/li>\n<li>allows you to create a single account login across all your children that attend a ParentPay school.\u00a0 All PKC schools\u00a0 are ParentPay schools<\/li>\n<li>shows you all items available for payment relevant to each of your children<\/li>\n<li>emails a receipt of your payment to the email address you register<\/li>\n<li>offers you the ability to set automated email\/text payment reminders<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How does ParentPay help you?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>gives you the freedom to make payments to school whenever and wherever you like<\/li>\n<li>stops you having tow rite cheques or search for cash to send to school<\/li>\n<li>gives you peace of mind that your payment has been made safely and securely<\/li>\n<li>helps with budgeting: payments are immediate, there is no waiting for cheques to clear<\/li>\n<li>payments for larger trips can usually be made by instalments to help spread the cost<\/li>\n<li>you will never need miss a payments, or have insufficient credit, with automated email\/SMS alerts<\/li>\n<li>ParentPay is quick and easy to use from your mobile phone, tablet or computer<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How does ParentPay help our school?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>reduces the admin time spent on banking procedures<\/li>\n<li>keeps accurate records of payments made to every service for every student<\/li>\n<li>payments do not bounce<\/li>\n<li>reduces paper \u2018waste\u2019<\/li>\n<li>allows for easy and quick refunds to be made back to the payment card<\/li>\n<li>improves communication between the school and parents concerning payments<\/li>\n<li>offers a more efficient payment collection process, reducing the amount of money held on the premises<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How do I get started?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>When your child starts at our school, we will send you an activation letter containing your activation details to enable you to set up your ParentPay account.<\/p>\n<p>If you have more than one child at a ParentPay school(s), you can add them to a single account, providing one login for all children at ParentPay schools.\u00a0 ParentPay is used in all Perth &amp;
