Commonwealth Games Mascot Visits CAPS
Clyde the official mascot for the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games visited Coupar Angus Primary School on Thursday 12th December 2013. The children watched a video about how Clyde made his way to Glasgow when the games were announced. Clyde then made a sporting enterance into the assembly hall where he showed off his sporting skills. Children had to guess which type of sport Clyde was demonstrating and then Miss Sinclair raced Clyde across the hall!
Clyde commented on how lovely all of the children were and he felt very welcomed into the school. He especially liked all the wonderful pictures the children had drawn and were displayed throught the school on the day of his visit.
