School News Update

Guess the Name of the Guide Dog

The winner of the dog was Corinna Scott who guessed the name was cinnamon. £36.50 was raised in support the training of a guide dog. Primary 2 are tring to raise £30o to sponsor a guide dog.

Chewing Gum

Some children have been bringing chewing gum to school. This is against school rules. it is a meance to others when it gets stuck to shoes and clothing. Pleas talk to your child about this.

Children Cycling to School

In the interest of safety we do not have children cycling to school. Please do not allow your child to cycle to school. We will continue to promote cycling at schooll but not cycling to school. Thank you for your support.

Rotary Shoe Box Appeal

Families and children can fill a shoebox with toys and household goods or items that would appeal to a teenager. You may not want to fill a whole shoebox. Individual items can be donated and the children will place them with other items to make up a shoebox e.g. tolitries, toys, hats, scarves, soap, paper, pencils. Shoeboxes are avaiable to order fromt he school via the newsletter.

Wooly Hats

Now that the colder weather is almost here you might want to buy a woolie hat with the school logo. We have two colours – red and green and they cost £3. Please order these via the newsletter.

Glowing for Guide Dogs

Primary 2 organised our Glow for Guide Dogs day and raised £126. This will go towards sponsoring a guide dog.
