Thanks to our wonderful PFA members who worked very hard alongside our school team to find funding to bring this project to fruition, We are incredibly lucky to have a Crub. We are passionate about health and wellbeing and are very fortunate to have this resource for our children. Our aim is to gradually build up the ability to harvest food to supplement our children’s lunch’s three times a week, currently harvesting twice a week during peak growing season.
In the Crub we grow grapes, cucumber, tomatoes, lettuce, spinach, and herbs. Children help at lunch and break with all the stages of growing and looking after food including harvesting and preparing for eating.
