We are very grateful to the Kay Family who kindly donated a sum of money on behalf of their late mother who passed away. The wish was for the money to be spent on an outdoor project. This allowed us to bring back to life a corner of our school playground that needed a lift. The children worked together to discuss what it was they felt they needed to create the right environment for relaxing in as the quiet garden was no longer a quiet space. Many people have been involved and help to make this space the wonderful garden it has become. We would like to say a huge thank you to our helpers and donators:
Mr Armstrong, Mr Pinkerton, Miss Gentry and Mr Smissen, Mrs Cowie, Mr & Mrs Kilgour, Miss McAllister, Mrs Rodgers, Ms Winkle, RTS for donating woodchip, Laura Norval (Bushcraft Bairns) for allowing us to visit at Comrie Croft and coming to teach the kids how to build the wild wall plus making the wooden signs, Gavin Harrower Lechkin fencing for donating a new fence, Tom at Scottish Prison Service for the reading bench and mud kitchen.
And all the children that took part!
