Collace Primary School are very lucky to have been given a baby bear to design for the \u2018Bear\u2019s Big Adventure Trail 2026\u2019<\/a>. Our little bear is part of the interactive sculpture trail coming to Perth and Kinross from 22nd<\/sup> June to 2nd<\/sup> September 2026.<\/p>\n

The Bears will be strategically placed in streets, parks, and public spaces, transforming our community into an open-air gallery. Each Bear on the trail will be unique, designed and painted by talented artists and schools. The trail is in support of YMCA Tayside and the out vital work provisions we provide young people aged 8 to 25 across Perth and Kinross, many of whom come from a disadvantaged background.<\/p>\n

First, we had to come up with a design for our bear. Pupils worked together to combine many different ideas into their chosen design which features the daffodils that surround our school in the month of April and May.<\/p>\n

Next, we had to make our design come to live by adding it to our blank bear. Every single pupil worked on painting the bear with their own part of the design and the finished bear looks spectacular.<\/p>\n

The only thing left to do was name our bear. After nominations and voting our bear was named \u2013 Bear Hop Snippleton.<\/p>\n

We look forward to visiting Bear Hop Snippleton on the trail during the schools summer holidays and hope plenty of other people enjoy seeing him too.<\/p>\n
