Friends of Cleish School (FoCS) is the fundraising and community face of Cleish Primary School.
FoCS arranges various fundraising events throughout the year, including:
– Stall at Kinross Farmers Markets (candy floss, balloon models, raffle tickets for hampers)
– Halloween Party
– Christmas Gift Exchange
– Raffles, usually for hampers created using donations from parents/ carers
– Tea/ coffee/ home baking at Sports Day’s
FoCS also applies for grants to support with funding, and runs the FoCS ‘Pie in the Sky’ Amazon Wishlist, mainly supporting with art & crafts items, gardening items and sensory items which are particularly beneficial for children who have Additional Support Needs (ASN). The Amazon Wishlist can be viewed HERE FoCS Amazon ‘Pie in the Sky’ Wishlist Those wishing to donate can choose the items they wish to donate, and have them sent directly to the school by selecting the Gift Registry Address as they go through the checkout.
Over the past few years, FoCS has been able to fund many things for the benefit of the children who attend Cleish Primary School, including:
– Buses for trips to the Panto at Christmas time
– Partial cost of tickets to the Panto for all children at Christmas time
– Dynamic Dance sessions for all children
– Ceramic painting sessions for all children
– Contribution towards repainting of the school playground
– Annual P7 hoodies for all P7 children
– Food/ drinks/ party bags for Halloween parties
– Purchase of a candy floss machine and card payment machine to use at local events for fundraising
– Purchase of a small lotteries licence to enable raffle tickets to be legally sold
– Purchase of annual subscription of Learning Journals for all of the children
– Purchase of new iPads and accessories for the school
FOCS has recently been supported by the following: –

– Loch Leven’s Larder
FOCS is very grateful for the supported received from all of the above, all of which has benefitted the youngsters who attend Cleish Primary School.
