I have enjoyed going out and about and doing some practical things such as visiting the farm and learning about what is involved in farming. It is a nice change from sitting in a classroom and writing all the time.
I love Rural Skills
i picked rural skills because we go outside.
why i chose rural skills
i chose rural skills because we get to go out to the farm and go to dun coilich and its not all classroom work, i enjoy being outdoors and going beating as well.
Why I chose Rural skills
I was sick and tired of being indoors all the time so i just needed to spend a bit more time outside, you could say I went and touched some grass.
What I like about rural skills
I like rural skills because we get to go out to the farm or Dun Coillich and it’s not all class room work.
Introduction of the blog to the N4 Rural class
Today the class will have the chance to decide on what we want to add to the blog. What is worth sharing about what they are doing in the Rural course and what they hope to achieve by studying Rural skills. …..watch this space.
Out and about on Dun Coillich
This picture was taken during one of our many visits to Dun Coillich. We work closely with Heather and Fred on a range of different practical activities from fencing, path work, tree planting and tree care. These activities form part of the estate skills unit in the N4 Rural skills course. For more infomration about the course and the work that is undertaken at Dun Coillich please have a look at the links on the right of the screen.
Welcome to Breadalbane Rural
