Important Information regarding Emergency School Closure Arrangements eg. Severe Weather<\/strong><\/p>\n Closure During the School Day: <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n If the weather deteriorates during the day a \u00a0message<\/strong> will be sent to J2E\u00a0to advise that the School is closing and that parents should collect their children.<\/p>\n All Parents, (and especially Parents of pupils in outlying areas), should identify a family in Aberuthven who would be willing to look after their child(ren) in the event that you are delayed or you cannot come to pick up your child\/ren. This could be a neighbour, member of family (eg older sibling) or a parent of other pupils in the school, etc.<\/p>\n A proforma\u00a0should be completed and returned to school in order for us to compile an emergency closure register.<\/p>\n The aim in an emergency closure is to evacuate the school as soon as possible.<\/p>\n We will release all children to whoever arrives at the school first ie parent or<\/strong> nominated emergency contact(s).<\/p>\n Staff will be released as appropriate (those with greatest distance first) though a member of staff will remain until the last pupil is released.<\/p>\n Parents\/Carers\/Emergency Contacts should attend at the front entrance of the School.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Closure Out-with the School Day:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n A\u00a0 message will be sent as early as possible via J2E if the school is to be closed. <\/strong><\/p>\n NB There may be a delay if staff have attempted to travel to school and have encountered difficulties.<\/p>\n When conditions are bad, especially in outlying areas, parents should not send their child(ren) to school if they are in any doubt<\/strong>.
