We have been learning all about crossing the road safely.

Enjoy the photos. The children assessed each other on how they crossed the road. They were not shy at telling each other how they could improve!

Tesco Trip

We had a fabulous time at Tescos today!

First we looked at all types of fruit and vegetables and the countries they come from. We spotted a few from Commonwealth countries.

We headed then to the bakery to see how rolls are made and what ingredients were needed.

We had a tasting session for cheese and voted for our favourite type.

Next we went to the fish counter and spotted different fish.

Then we had a chance to go in the walk in freezer. It was very cold at -024 degrees centigrade. Needless to say we didn’t hang around there!

Next we saw where the deliveries came in.

Finally we had a tasting session of fruit and veg!

We learnt alot and had a great time also! Thank you Tesco!

We have been learning all about germs in class.

We had fun also learning how to handwash too!

Bicycle Obstacle Course

P1/2/3, along with the rest of the school, were able to take part in a bike/scooter obstacle course in the tennis courts.

We had great fun improving our bicycle handling skills.

A big thank you to Mrs Glendinning who helped to arrange this for us!

Whose That baby?

We have been looking at different stages in our lives, so we brought in pictures of ourselves as babies.

We had a good laugh looking at each other as babies and very young children and discussed how we had changed!

All the children of P1/2/3 were too cute for their own good as babies!!
