Holly was skiing last week in France. She showed us this week her gold award for skiing.
Well done Holly!
We had a great time at the Christmas party and we all loved seeing Santa.
Thanks Santa for visiting us at this busy time of the year for you.
P2/3 worked very hard to make yule logs to sell at our craft evening.
They worked in pairs and did a fantastic job. See for yourself!
Our Pupil Council members elected by our class are;
Aiva and James.
Well done!
Well done also to everyone who entered the election.
Today we learned about St. Andrew for Scotland’s special day.
We went over to the hall and danced some Scottish dances. After that we had a Scottish food taster session. We learnt about the health benefits of some and how some foods should be only eaten in moderation. Today we tasted a variety of porridge, oatcakes and Scottish cheddar, shortbread and tablet. Haggis was going to be served, but it was already an option for lunch.
It was good to see a lot of the children tucking into porridge.
What a brilliant time we had when the fire brigade visited us.
They showed us all theirĀ water equipment, cutting tools and we all got the chance to use the water hose. We had to aim at a cone on top of the bin. I think there are some budding firefighters amongst us!
Today the whole school went out delivering jam to the elderly folkĀ of Braco.
P2/3 paired up with P4/5 and braved the weather to deliver our jam.
Although we got wet, we managed to deliver all our jam. Thank you very much to all our parents who donated jam.
