First of all we saw frogs and lizards from the Rain Forest.
Next we met Sam who talked about litter in the sea and how it damages sea life. She also had a rock pool and taught us about spider crabs, hermit crabs, sea urchins, anemones and starfish. We were able to touch these too.
After that we went outside and saw the seals being fed fish.
Next of all we went into the centre and saw all different types of fish including piranha, sharks and rays. We had a great time going round the tunnel and seeing the sharks swimming all around us!
We had lunch and visited the shop too. Unfortunately it was time to go home.

Our new topic this term is called Our Heritage 200. We will be learning about Braco and Greenloaning over the past 200 years.
As part of our celebrations, a performance will be held in the Lodge Park at the end of March. Aileen Ogilvie came to help us plan out what we would be doing and she was also joined by Dave Macfarlane, who will help us create music for this performance.
On Thursday 30th.October, we visited the Transport Museum.There we learned about how transport is powered by Madeline our host.We then split up into small groups to explore the rest of the museum.A big Thank you to Mrs Davies, Mr Jackson, Mrs McLaren and Ben who helped out on the day. This entailed us having to paint an egg for the head and decorating it with wool or felt for hair/hat. We then had to saw wood (25cm long) for the body and then covering it with material. (Thank you Mrs Gillies for the help!) We also had to attach another smaller piece of wood for an arm.
