Rights Respecting School

We are currently working towards our Level 1 Rights Respecting School’s award.

Our steering group is made up of  eight children from P2 to P7. We meet regularly with Miss Cruickshank.

We are learning about the articles on the United Nations Children’s charter which explains our rights.   Every class has a Class Charter which helps us to think about what rights respecting behaviour we should show to others.

Here is our P7 RRS representative handing out questionnaires to parents on Parents Evening – he did a great job!

Jane Westall, Rights officer for Perth and Kinross came to speak with us at assembly about our rights.  Here we are answering a quiet quiz about our rights.P7 pupil handing out surveys to parents on RRSJane Westall presenting the quiet quiz on children's rights at assembly.
