The finale of our work in the spring term on World War Two was an afternoon where parents, carers and the community were invited into the school to share our learning. We had displays of games we had learned, art work and writing. The P4-7s entertained everyone with a medley of WW2 songs, and there was cake all round.
Our Community Skills Exchange was a great success with members of the local community joining the children to teach them how to knit. The children taught the adults how to weave and much fun was had by all. We hope the ladies enjoyed the afternoon and really appreciate everybody who gave up their time to come into the school.
