Our Primary 6 and 7 pupils are really looking forward to a great weekend of fun & activities in September. They are off with pupils from Forteviot Primary and Guildtown Primary on a PGL adventure. We are looking forward to hearing all about it on their return!

Summer Fayre
Forgandenny Summer Fayre
Our summer fayre was held on 26th May at the school and was a huge success. We had face painting, sold home produce, games , cream teas, bottle stalls and a whole lot more. A huge thanks to all the parents, teachers, pupils and friends of the school who came along to help set up the stalls and make the day the success it was.

Sports day pictures
We had a lovely sports day – with all the traditional races & a little bit more! The space hopper races were a great success.
Many thanks to all the parents & friends who turned out to support us and joined us for refreshments afterwards.
Congratulations to Random Runners who were our overall winners in the potted sports. Thank you Mrs Anderson for presenting our winners with their well deserved medals.
Sports Day
Sports Day is on Friday 10th June at 1.30pm at the Forgandenny field. This year will included some potted sports and class races. Refreshments (tea, coffe and juice) will be served in school after the events.

Orienteering finals
A huge well done to the P5-7’s who took place in the finals of the Perth and Kinross Orienteering championships at Scone today. Three teams from the school qualified for the finals following the qualifiers a few weeks ago. Today gave them the opportunity to compete against other finalists from around Perth and although they did not win the event all the pupils had fun and completed the course in good times.

Awesome Cool Kickers – Kirsten, Caitlin and Ailsa
DSJ – Donald, Struan and James
Supersonic Speeders – Amy, Joanna and Esther

Garden Tidy – Thanks
A huge thanks to everyone involved in helping to tidy the school garden on Sunday. The school gardens are now looking great and ready for veggie planting to commence. A special thanks to Amanda Sinclair for organsing the day and making it so successful. The picture above is of a ‘wee creature’ who visited during the tidy. Thanks again from all at Forgandenny.
Auchterarder Football
Well done to the Forgandenny football team who took part in the Auchterarder Schools’ Football Competition on Friday 25th March. It was a beautiful day for football and we played four games, lost two and drew two. The team are already looking forward to the next round of games in May.
Red Nose Day – Total
Well done to everyone for raising a grand total of £162.62 for Comic Relief. Thanks to everyone who dontated money, helped with the home baking or had a go at some of the Red Nose actvities organised by the charities group. A fun day was had by all.
