Dalguise

The P6/7’s had a great time at Dalguise and enjoyed all sorts of activities and adventures. They went high, further and faster than many of them had been before, and probably got dirtier that they had ever been as well!

There are loads of photos of all the activities and we are looking at the best way of sharing these with you, but here are a few to keep you going.

Cross Country at Scone Racecourse

Well done to all the P5-7 who took part in the Perth and Kinross  inter school cross country championships on Tuesday 19th 2013. The children had a stunning day for the race and throughly enjoyed the event. There next event for the class is the orienteering championships at the end of March so hopefully the children will keep running to be prepared for the day. Check out some of the pictures below.

Orienteering @ Strathallan

Well done to P5-7 for taking part in the inter-school orienteering championships at Strathallan today. The weather was being typically Scottish providing a lovely grey backdrop with a sprinkling of rain. The weather however did not dampen the enthusiasm of the children who all did extremely well. Extra congratulations to Straun and Donald who came 3rd overall out of a total of 96 teams.

Farmer Visit

A treat for P1-2 recently when Farmer Andrew Sinclair very kindly brought his silver tractor to school to support our Farm topic, & to answer questions from the children. Everyone even got to sit in the cab! We are looking forward to visiting Andrew’s farm in the next few weeks.
