Well done to all the P5-7 who took part in the Perth and Kinross inter school cross country championships on Tuesday 19th 2013. The children had a stunning day for the race and throughly enjoyed the event. There next event for the class is the orienteering championships at the end of March so hopefully the children will keep running to be prepared for the day. Check out some of the pictures below.
Primary 1 enjoyed their first lunch in school today with their Mummies and Daddies. They managed very well with the new routine and nearly all had clean plates! We hope they will enjoy their full days in school. The buddies will be on hand to help them in the lunch hall until October. Many thanks to Ms Lyttle for all her hard work this morning.
A huge thanks to the health group for organising a fantastic biking breakfast for the community. The weather could have been better on the day but it did nothing to dampen the enthusiasm of the children who came along to school at 8:30am for a healthy breakfast to start the day. The group had prepared fresh fruit, pancakes, malt loaf, choice of cereals and juice ensuring stomachs were full and ready to start the day.
The Bike Station and Dr Bike were also with us at school and tried to service as many bikes as they could on the day. If you need more information on the service Dr Bike offers please see the website
Today, we officially launched our Olympic topic by holding an Opening Cermony. We had an international Olympic parade, dance and finally a torch relay at the local park. Check out the cool pictures!
A huge thanks from everyone at Forgandenny to the Garden Group who have done a fantastic job tidying the school garden. It was wonderful to come into school on Monday to a freshly barked picnic area and new plants in the planters.
