Green Flag
Tomorrow Jennifer and Shannah from the Green Beans are going to phone Eco Schools Scotland to find out how our 2nd Green Flag application is getting on. Lets keep our fingers crossed for good luck.
Our New Name
After much discussion the name of our vertical group was decided by a vote. From this moment onwards we will be know as…The Green Beans – here to save the world. Well done everyone for coming up with some amazing ideas. Next week we will get onto planning activities for the year. The 1st being an Eco Lunch!
Eco 2010/2011 – Our Successes
It has been a very busy year in the Green Team – Here are a few of our successes.
- Blogging was one of our biggest successes as you can see!
- Our veggies are flourishing considering the fact they were battered by heavy winds.
- The garden is beautiful thanks to the parents for all their hard work at weekends. We take our hats off to you!
- The birds have stayed around only because of our hard work and your donations. Thanks!
- The birds also stay around because of our brand new bird feeders.
