Every parent and carer at Craigie Primary is automatically a member of the Parent Forum. The Parent Forum is represented by parent members of the Parent Council. The Parent Council ensures smooth, constructive links between school, community and home. Although this is the main way we ensure parental voice in our school, we also gather wider opinion from time to time. This can be by text, email, letter or survey.
The Parent Council is very active in support of the school and meets regularly during the school year to represent the views of parents and raise issues of general concern to other parents. Here is a link to their information leaflet. Craigie Parent Council Leaflet 2015
As well as the more formal Parent Council, the Parents’ Association is also very active on Craigie’s behalf by raising money for the school on a regular basis. The membership of this team is fluid, with all parents welcome at every meeting.
Please contact the school if you would like more details about how to get involved with the Parent Council or Parents’ Association.
