We are a small, child centred single teacher school in rural Perthshire. Staff, parents and community members all work collaboratively to provide our pupils with a wide variety of interesting learning experiences and opportunities. We aim to enable all pupils to be successful learners, responsible citizens, effective contributors and confident individuals.
Our curriculum is based on the Curriculum for Excellence and we strive to ensure that learning is relevent, personalised, progressive and enjoyable. Our pupils learn through the four contexts for learning – curriculum subjects, interdisciplinary learning, life and ethos of the school and personal achievement. Our aim is to help ensure that all of our pupils move onto secondary school as confident, successful, responsible lifelong learners.
We are always delighted to welcome new pupils to our school. Please contact the Head Teacher to arrange a visit and find out more about learning and life at Blairingone School.
