Onatti Theatre event

On Tuesday 17 Feb, S1/2 pupils watched a play in German by the Onatti Theatre company.

Meine Neue Schwester

Katarina is a happy teenager. She lives with her mum.  It’s been a long time since her dad left but finally her mum has found a new partner called Gunter. He has a daughter, her name is Sonja and she’s the same age as Katarina.

Secretly Katarina has always wanted a sister; someone to borrow clothes from, someone to talk to about boys!  Katarina’s mum tells her that Sonja will be visiting and staying overnight. What will she be like?  Will they like the same things?

The apprehension is unbearable for Katarina as any moment her bedroom door will slowly open revealing her potential step-sister.  This could be the start of a great friendship or a horrendous nightmare!
