The School Improvement Plan is:
- drawn up in the context of the whole school strategic plan (along with national and local priorities)
- the prioritised agenda for improvement in the school
- a guide to action which will achieve improvement based on our self-evaluation processes (see Figure 1)
- a commitment to action
- a tool to be used with carefully judged flexibility
- an open working document that is regularly reviewed and updated at whole school/PT/SLT meetings.
- Department Improvement Plans are drawn up in the context of the whole school strategic plan and School Improvement Plan.
