Well done to BHS pupil Dulcie on receiving her 1st prize at The Royal Scottish Academy, friends of the RSA Art competition.
She attended the prize giving ceremony on Wednesday 12th February in Edinburgh to see her figurative pencil study framed in the gallery alongside 14 other pupils from across Scotland. The day consisted of speeches, a tour of the gallery and the awards ceremony and she received 1st prize winning £250 for herself and the School Art department. The exhibition of Art award winners is open to the public for the next 2 week mon-fri.
Congratulations got to Dulcie and all pupils who gave up many school lunchtimes and worked at home to develop their final pieces for the competition.
