Open Door Policy<\/strong><\/h3>\n

We are committed to maintaining a warm, open and approachable school community. Our open door policy<\/strong> encourages families to get in touch whenever they need to.<\/p>\n

You can contact us through the school office<\/strong> by telephone or email, or by speaking directly to your child\u2019s class teacher<\/strong> at the school gate. Your child\u2019s teacher should always be your first point of contact<\/strong> for day\u2011to\u2011day matters, while the Head Teacher<\/strong> is available to support with any wider concerns.<\/p>\n

Learning Journals<\/h3>\n

We use Learning Journals<\/strong> to share what your child is learning in class. Each child has their own secure online journal where they, along with their teacher, can capture and document their learning as the term progresses. Entries may include photos, videos, drawings or PDF documents that showcase their work.<\/p>\n

Learning Journals are completely private\u2014only you can access your child\u2019s journal outside of school.<\/p>\n

Reporting and Parent Contact sessions<\/h3>\n

We issue progress updates 3 times a year (November, March, June) that routinely update parents and carers on their child’s effort, progress and attainment.<\/p>\n

Parent\/ Carers are invited into school twice a year (November and March) to meet with their child’s teacher to discuss progress and next steps.<\/p>\n

Newsletters<\/h3>\n

We strive to share the developments and successes of our school community each term via a newsletter that is emailed out to primary contacts for each child and saved on our website.<\/p>\n

ParentPay<\/h3>\n

Parents Portal<\/h3>\n

Parents Portal is a digital service to help replace the traditional school bag run by providing direct communication to parents\u00a0and carers through a growing selection of online services.<\/p>\n
