Creativity Group – A Journey of Storytelling, Sound and Imagination (Jan/ Feb 2026)
Our P5 Creativity Group recently enjoyed an exceptional opportunity to work with professional musician and composer Rory Clark. Over six inspiring sessions, Rory supported the pupils to build confidence and develop their creative skills, with a strong focus on self‑esteem, teamwork, communication, and nurturing their sense of identity as successful learners and storytellers.
To spark their imagination, the group visited the historic Gleneagles House, built in the 1700s, where the atmosphere and surroundings provided rich inspiration for their developing ideas. Back at school, the children created an incredible original story, complete with soundscapes, artwork, and photography that brought their narrative vividly to life.
Their learning culminated in a Museum of Creativity, a marvellous exhibition where pupils took on real museum roles—curators, guides, ticket staff, artists, and creators. Families and pupils were able to explore the pupils’ work and experience their story in immersive and imaginative ways.
We are incredibly proud of the creativity, commitment and collaboration shown by every pupil involved. Their achievements truly showcase the power of the arts to inspire confidence, identity and joy.
