Our wide range of extra‑curricular activities is made possible through the support of our dedicated staff, senior pupil leaders, community partners, and local organisations. We are proud of the strong culture of pupil leadership within our school, with our P6/7 learners trained as Sports Leaders who help plan and deliver active opportunities for younger pupils. Throughout the week, children can explore clubs and activities that promote confidence, teamwork, and new skills. Activities change throughout the year based on feedback from our learners about what they want to try from ukelele to netball, chess to quiz masters.

Our “What’s On Blackford” notice board keeps children up to date with the latest opportunities available both in school and across the community, ensuring every child can get involved and thrive beyond the classroom.
