Solar Eclipse

The whole school was outside this morning to experience the  Solar Eclipse. We were lucky that it was such a lovely clear day and pupils were able to try out  special eclipse viewing glasses and various homemade pinhole cameras, viewing boxes, and even colanders! to project the images of the sun. I wonder where we will all be for the next big partial eclipse of the sun in the UK in August 2026?

Castles Trip

P5/6/7 had a great day out visiting Stirling Castle and Doune Castle. There was lots to see and do and a good time was had by all, despite the rain!

Red Nose Day

A huge thank you to everyone who baked and bought baking on Red Nose Day – there was a huge selection of goodies on offer before playtime and at the end of the day – grand total of £184.65 was raised – amazing!

There were some fabulous entries in the Bake-Off competition, from both adults and children, well done everyone who took part, and many thanks to our two judges Mrs Munt and Mrs Nicholson.
