Remember that when you use or borrow books from the library you are using someone else’s property. You should take good care of them. Lost or damaged books will have to be paid for (full price). New or second hand books in very good or excellent condition can be given instead of payment, as this may be cheaper than paying the full cost.<\/p>\n
Keep food and drink away from books.<\/p>\n
Please don’t write on them.<\/p>\n

\nDo not bend books back…you might break the binding (cover).<\/p>\n
Don\u2019t get them wet<\/p>\n
ON THE SHELVES…
\nTry to keep books upright
\nDo not try to jam them in, loosen the book rest if you need to
\nDo not push any other books down the back of the shelves<\/p>\n
If you try and stick to these few rules, books will last longer, and you won’t find yourself with a bill asking you to pay for the cost of replacement.
\nREMEMBER…Make sure you don\u2019t get done for cruelty to books!<\/p>\n
