Stromness Academy Library

Books, reading and life in a school library

Activities

The school library runs activities at lunchtimes, Tuesday after school, and during Friday afternoon activities.

Library@Lunchtime (and after school)

Open every lunchtime for homework, board games, computers, study, reading, colouring in.

Booking computers for work is recommended, however, pupils wishing to work will always get priority over leisure use – just ask.

Early lunch passes (to go to the head of the queue) are available from the library or the front office.
**On certain days only, you are allowed to bring your lunch in (eg. sandwiches, snacks – no hot food).**

This schedule indicates when Mrs Sinclair is usually available to support you. There is nothing stopping you doing any of these on another day as a self-directed activity.
