On Wednesday 18th May we flew over to Papay to meet up with the children and staff at Papay School and go for a sail on the Swan. You can read a peedie article (on OIC updates) about our trip by clicking on the link below<\/p>\n

We also wrote acrostic poems about our trip.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

S<\/strong>teering was fun because I liked taking turns<\/p>\n

W<\/strong>indy day, Maggie’s hat blew away!<\/p>\n

A<\/strong>nd the sea splashed onto the boat and we got sprayed by it<\/p>\n

N<\/strong>‘ we got biscuits from Maggie the Captain and everyone got some<\/p>\n

T<\/strong>he Swan is a sailing boat<\/p>\n

H<\/strong>elping each other put up the sails<\/p>\n

E<\/strong>veryone had lunch together and played music<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

S<\/strong>plash went the sea<\/p>\n

W<\/strong>ind was too much to get into the pier in Papay<\/p>\n

A<\/strong>nd we played music<\/p>\n

N<\/strong>igg Bay was the boat we went on back to Papay<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

T<\/strong>he best bit was the music because we all played something<\/p>\n

R<\/strong>obin was nearly sick<\/p>\n

I<\/strong>t was as cold as ice<\/p>\n

P<\/strong>apay was windy<\/p>\n

T<\/strong>he sail blew in the wind from the south<\/p>\n

H<\/strong>oo woo Maggie’s hat blew off into the sea when we tried to pull into the pier at Papay<\/p>\n

E<\/strong>veryone went to Westray<\/p>\n

S<\/strong>plash went the water in the sea against the boat<\/p>\n

W<\/strong>ind blew rough and fast<\/p>\n

A<\/strong>t lunch time we made lovely music and when the anchor went down it was loud and clanky<\/p>\n

N<\/strong>um num we got biscuits on the Swan and my favourite bit was steering the Swan because it was fun<\/p>\n
