The headline aim of the programme is to encourage and support more employers to engage directly with schools and colleges to recruit more young people and promote diversity in their workforce. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dyw.scot\/uploads\/1\/0\/5\/5\/105538585\/dyw-diagram-1300-1200-px_orig.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"434\" height=\"400\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>North Lanarkshire Council&#8217;s Education and Families team work with the DYW Regional Group for Lanarkshire and East Dunbartonshire (DYW LED) to ensure that young people across the region have work relevant experience and opportunities while still at school. DYW collaborates with schools, to bring industry into the classroom, and give young people first-hand experience of the world of work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>DYW works in partnership with employers, encouraging them to play an active role in shaping Scotland\u2019s education system.
