Today in maths we were doing very tricky card questions to get our brain warmed up for the day ahead. The questions were extremely hard but we all worked as a team to solve them

Today in ICT we were doing a little bit of maths on the computers. We were practicing our times tables with longer numbers. Then after that we started to practice our french.

We also made a power point we could do a power point about our self or about a famous person and all about them and their lives – we described them in french

eg- Ed Sheeran -J’ai les yeux bleus=i have blue eyes.

After playtime primary 7 started making a letter to Mr Kiernan for his great writing skills he taught us Gourdie handwriting. at first it was pretty hard but primary 7 were able to achieve writing in a different way like Mr Kiernan.

Mr McMullans dad gave primary 7 a parcel it had loads of stuff for the bees. Inside of the parcel was melted bees wax and polish and it was really interesting and it was like no other. it was well better than when primary 7 and Miss Donald’s class tried to melt it but the only thing was that we used old bees wax YUCK!!!

Finally, after lunch, we went to the High School for a PE session! It was excellent fun

Maths

today we started of with maths. we were doing dividing and multiplying BY 10, 100 and 1,000. Top tips for this are to move the digit left when multiplying and move the digit right when dividing.

today in french we learned  about french colours.   We had a competition against Mr McMullan to see who could match the French colours quickest.

No prizes for guessing that Mr McMullan won with 11 seconds!

In PE we were continuing to practice our yoga technique and we are getting stronger and more flexible. Over the holiday, give it a go in the living room.

Dropped capitals 

This morning we were learning about dropped capitals and when there used we wrote out the lyrics to “the gambler” our school show song , dropped capitals are mostly used in  books its more likely to be an older books but we made our own up

2nd Choir practice

We were practicing our choir songs for the school show “rockin rodeo” we are getting better at singing both of our songs.

The songs are The Climb and a Thousand Hallelujahs

After playtime we had Lindsey from the high school come into the class to talk to us about our 2 day visit which is on this Thursday and Friday the first and second of June, most people cant wait.We talked about making new friends and what will happen when its time for the 2 day visit.

First activity after lunch was times table bingo with a twist there is a victim and the victim has to shout out the answers to the sums that the teacher choose.

After that we did some more equations with algebra some had letters as numbers and some had shapes as numbers here are some pictures

After lunch the primary 7’s from the other class came into our class to practice the school show songs THE GAMBLER,LIFE IS A HIGHWAY,MAN I FEEL LIKE A WOMAN!

hi welcome to the super woodlands sports day.on sports day every single year we do a variety of sports that s fun and healthy to do.

at the start of the day we had the gym

next we went to the amazing zorbing it was absoloutley amazing  lots of people loved it here’s a few opininons:

• Jenn- “I loved the zorbing! I won on all the rounds I went on”.
• Rachel-  ” the zorbing was amazing and i just loved it “.
• Dylan- “it was good”.
• Chloe- “it was really fun but it was hilarious when Mr McMullan was getting flung everywhere by Mr green.

after that we went to the  go carting but we weren’t the only ones carting Mr McMullan joined in but he fell and it was HILARIOUS!

we also had inflatables to play about on we had the Hollywood hotel from hell slide and the bounce house
