today we were colouring Santa’s in the morning and then we started a bit of our Santa letter and then we went to the pantomime and then it was break time now we are finishing our letters to Santa/complaint

MAKING SLEIGHS

We are making working sleighs with balloons and cardboard and wooden sticks examples and we are going to race to see which design is better

Today at school we come into class and we did bingo and some people won. After bingo we went to assembly and got spit into some groups and for some people their first activity was the assembly to sing some songs or the daily mile or the watching movie ice age.

Today when we came in we went through to p7s class and, we did some Christmas activities.

The teacher forgot about the Sumdog challenge that he put on about everybody against Kimberley, and then he shouted it to our class and then people started to play it but there is no way they are going to beat me. (I play it all the time!).

When we finished doing what we were doing we went to the gym hall and practised our song because it is on Friday.

When we finished doing our song it was playtime. It was an outdoor so we could all get fresh air.

When we came back in we went to p7s class and finished watching our elf movie. When it finished, we came back to our class and we watched some of our movie. (It is called planet earth.)

Before Mrs Thomson came and got us for Christmas lunch mr McMullan told us what we are doing after lunch. Straight when he finished, she chapped the door and asked us for all the Christmas lunch people.

We all thought it was a delicious lunch but we had to move on. It was an outdoor, so we could play with our friends and forget about Christmas lunch.

When we came back in we started to read some of our Percy Jackson book.

After lunch we went outside to do outdoor learning. We are learning about pine and holly trees. We also lit some fires and played some games. Altogether we all had a fun day, and everybody had great manners.

If you see any of these words. teach your kid the correct word you should be saying because, the teacher will make you write out the correct word 250 times in your thinking jotter.

This morning we Were we were working on our spelling words.

maths

in maths today were going to do find the difference. We were working on counting on from the bottom number up to the top number.

We also worked on solving maths word problems.

During assembly there were special visitors and we won a trophy for road safety design.

After assembly we were creating crowns for the nativity dress rehearsal tomorrow.

I The Firstly we finished our applications for a place in our advert! For our delicious woodlands honey!!!! We are taking part in different things and our class is highly recommended you buying it.we are selling the honey in February.

After that we watched a video  called planet earth.We used  a alphagrids  for good words from the video we are copying words we are hearing for example we are hearing about fish we don’t know for exsample mud fish.The mud fish can camouflage into the bottom of the sea! Then we went on the daily mile.

just before break we done our book club and josh told us about his book it was an amazing and it was interesting!we all listened carefully and Lisbon’s to him speak he was great!

We took what we wrote for our application and made it more interesting hat we had to do was  the reason you would be super at the job and why you want the job and tell a little about yourself it was great writing our job applications!

we went and did out door learning For 10 minutes it was so fun we were soaked and We did a scavenger hunt! For nature!  the sheet could of ripped in half.

After that we went to I.C.T

we played hit the button Well what you do  is pick a table say 20 and then you pick the button to make the full numbers  then we practised our typeing for the end of the day

Today when we came in, we started to do some maths. We are learning to add and subtract calculations. We are also learning to partition it to make maths easier. e.g 56 + 25 (50 + 20) (6 + 5) Firstly get the answer to the calculations and then when you have the answer add them together so you will get your final answer.

After that we did some literacy. We are learning to use outstanding V ( vocabulary) C ( connectives) O ( openers) P ( punctuation). We are also learning to use marvellous VCOP, at the beginning of a sentence. E.g firstly, secondary, Next time, after that. ( never give up because, there are lots of them).

When we finished that, it was break time and it was an indoor so, some people got to play on the computers, and some other p7s got to go and buddy the little ones.

When break time was finished we wrote an application, of what we wanted to be, in the advert for the honey. We had to use extremely good VCOP. We also had to evidence them, why we would be good doing it and why he should give us the part we want.

When we had finished our applications, the bell ran for lunch time.

When lunch time was over we went for the daily mile. and some people who didn’t finish there applications stayed in and finished it.

After we came in it was assembly time. Mr green watched news round, and did some awards. It felt Quick!

When the assembly was finished we came back to class and watched a little movie. It is called blue planet. When we finished watching a little bit of our movie.

We had questions that we had to answer and they where about how  much money we have sold for the equipment that we are selling.

After we finished our questions, we went to the p7s class to practise our singing for the navitity. We showed the people, who weren’t here yesterday, the actions because we made up new ones.

Today when we came in we did some maths. We are learning to partitioning numbers . We are also learning to add and subtract numbers while partitioning it. We are learning to make maths easier and that is called BOGLF.

After we did a lot of maths it was break time. When we came back in, we went to the gym hall and on the stage we practised our navitity song. When we finished we listened to the p6s sing, and I have to admit it was really good, but we are still better than them.

After we listened to them, we came back and did some quizzes, and who wants to be a million air.

After we did some quizzes we went for our lunch 🥗

We came back in and the quire went away to practise there song so the kids who doesn’t want to be in it, they did some maths. They did some daily 10 and sumdog. When we were playing the daily ten Mr McMullen lost, because he got 3 wrong, Ciaran had 2 wrong and Kimberley, got them all correct.(Just admit he is a loser)!

When the choir came back we did some V (vocabulary) C (connectives) O ( openers) P ( puncation) VCOP. We practised of making better sentences, and we are upstepping our game, to add in lots of extremely good words to sentences.

We are trying to add in good words into this paragraph.

Here is some excellent examples, of people’s paragraphs.

After we had to write down as many words as we could, what is a time related opener. Here is what everybody thought, what was time related openers.

After that we moved onto making our own sentences with VCOP, or we could just fill in these sentences that the teacher made us, but we had to have to VCOP.

After that, we had to cool down, so we did the daily mile.
