This morning, P7 enjoyed time at the local park playing, laughing and making memories together ☀️💛
Yesterday we worked so hard in our maths lesson of fractions, we then went outside for a brain break 🧠.
Today, we worked hard on our Graduation videos. We then spent some time outdoors enjoying the sunshine!
Last week was Sports Week, we enjoyed lots of different activities outdoors each afternoon! We worked as teams, in pairs and used the Trim Trail, had balloon races, played games and spent some time on the pitch! ☀️
Today, P7 were very sensible and mature with Mrs McMillan for their Health lesson today discussing changes which happens during puberty. This afternoon we participated in our P7 daily mile challenge and had an extra play for our sensible attitudes 😁 👏
P7 had a very special visit from GHS headteacher Mrs Park and depute Mrs Adler who answered all the questions we had about High School!
We were also focussing on our ball skills again. We have been developing our control when dribbling, passing and scoring on target. ⚽️ 🥅
We have been practising our control, dribbling and passing skills in football. We also had a visit from two members of GHS discussing how we are feeling about the change from Primary to Secondary school. We thoroughly enjoyed learning more about High School and looking at timetables.
Welcome back P7!
This week we have started our own Woodlands P7 Daily Mile challenge, we are trying to beat our own personal laps and see who is our daily and weekly winner! We also began our new PE topic of football. We are focussing on controlling the ball through dribbling. We have been enjoying our time outdoors in our dry weather, making the most of it!
It has been amazing having everyone back at school 🥰. We have enjoyed our Easter fun day of quizzes, creating Easter boxes and cards! We had some time out in the sun and have been focussing lately on our communication and teamwork skills in team games.

P7 continued with their art work of the Blitz.
Today we were learning all about Comic Relief and the support and help from this that is given around the world. We learned lots through our comprehension work today, Kahoot quizzes, some art work to design red noses, masks and characters to go with these. The class also voted to set ourselves a whole class challenge for our Daily Mile to be sponsored👏🔴 Great effort today everyone!
