Thoughtful Thursday π π€
Outdoor PE
Primary 7 will be taking part in a 4 week block of outdoor physical education every Friday from Friday 28th August.Β For this block of outdoor PE children will be asked to attend school on this day wearing a waterproof jacket, plain black or grey jogging bottoms, a school polo shirt and a school jumper.
Wonderful Wednesdays π§ ππ’π₯°π€¨ππ₯±
This afternoon, P7 were discussing emotions. We discussed how our body can react to these feelings physically. We used our imagination to create a βFeelings monsterβ or express what this feeling could look like in our heads and what colour it would be. We also finished creating our class charter.
Terrific Tuesday βοΈ
Today, P7 were discussing the term mental health. We created a list of different feelings & emotions. We then looked at suggested ways to help keep your mental health positive and decided if the action helps mental health, physical health, both or neither and whether we should do it always, sometimes or never.
Magic Monday β¨
Today, we started our new work booklets for maths using Power Maths, Miss Park was super impressed with all of our hard work π Β (you can access power maths using Active Learn).
We are using Bug Club through Active Learn too. Pupils can access our current book βUnder my Feetβ by using their username and password. If pupils are unsure of this, please ask in class.
Book & Media study π₯ π
For Literacy, P7 are reading our whole class novel, Artemis Fowl. Along with this, we are going to complete a media study with Disneyβs movie Artemis Fowl. As this is a PG, please contact the school if you do not wish your child to watch this film.
Thank you,
Miss Park
