Today Woodlands Primary School participated in a whole school and nursery activity day.\u00a0 \u00a0Children learned about specific rights and developed their skills while helping raise money for vulnerable children.<\/p>\n
Children:<\/p>\n
Explored helping others in a Hospital\/kitchen. Through Pudsey is sick and\u00a0food design challenge.<\/p>\n
Identified a healthy meal through our Bear Picnic task.<\/p>\n
Designed a teddy bear that can help children with different disabilities.<\/p>\n
Considered what habitats bears needed to survive and linked this to children’s lives.<\/p>\n
Took part\u00a0in bear hunts answering riddles, counting and discussing the benefits li ked to regular exercise.<\/p>\n
Used stop motion technology to create a moving bear and movie lined to promoting Children in Need.<\/p>\n
