This week’s assembly focuses on Anti-Bullying week. We looked at what bullying is and what we can do in certain situations to ‘bully proof’ our school.<\/p>\n

Article 2 \u2013 <\/b>Non-discrimination:\u00a0<\/b>The Convention applies to every child without discrimination, whatever their ethnicity, gender, religion, language,\u00a0abilities\u00a0or any other status, whatever they think or say, whatever their family background.<\/p>\n

Article <\/b>12<\/b> \u2013 <\/b>R<\/b>espect for the views <\/b>of <\/b>the child:\u00a0<\/b>Every child has the right to express their views, feelings and wishes in all matters affecting them, and to have their views considered and taken seriously. This right\u00a0applies at all times, for example during immigration proceedings, housing decisions or the child\u2019s day-to-day home life.<\/p>\n

Article 19\u00a0<\/b>\u2013<\/b>\u00a0<\/b>Protection from violence, abuse and neglect: <\/b>Governments must do all they can to ensure that children are protected from all forms of violence, abuse, neglect and bad treatment by their parents or anyone else who looks after them.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
