P5/6 have been focussing on getting to know their classmates and working together.
We created our group names which included something that everyone at the group likes/enjoys and created posters to show this ππ¬π€©.
Group work βΊοΈπ¬π
Last week, P5/6 participated in our first PE lesson. We got to choose our favourite games to play to work on our team work skills. We chose duck, duck, goose for our warm up game and also played only octopus and the Β dodgeball.
Please remember, our PE days are Mondayβs and Wednesdayβs. If possible, please remember to bring a change of clothes and a water bottle.
We have been working hard in maths, showing our previous knowledge of place value. We participated in stations, practising partitioning, ordering and revising our number bonds. Miss Park was very impressed π.
First week of P5/6 π
Miss Park has enjoyed getting to know everyone in P5/6 over the last week.
We participated in a scavenger hunt to find out more about our peers and their summer.
We also played the skittle game, we answered questions about our likes and interests depending on the colour of skittle we had chosen βΊ Β π.
We also demonstrated our problem solving skills by working individually or in small groups to solve the power line problems βπ’π€.
