We have been working very hard using our creative and artistic skills to construct and transform boxes, cardboard and various materials to design an object from our latest reading novels. Some of us have created boats, hotels, cottages, caves, lie detectors and buses! Miss Park was very impressed with our creative ideas đĄ đ.
P5/6 have been identifying 12 hour time and working out the equivalent 24 hour digital time.
We have also started putting our model plan in to action from our latest reading novel. Can you guess what we are making? They are from the novels: The Santa Maria, Kaspar Prince of Cats, Lie Detector and Bunk Bed Bus.
P5/6 thoroughly enjoyed looking at P6/7 and P7âs art work. Our class thank them for inviting us and said it was âabstract, colourful and talented workâ. Â âWe loved it!â
We have been discussing our emotions and how they can be positive and negative and both are important. To showcase our understanding so far we have been creating posters for our Health wall.
We are beginning our new topic about light and have brainstormed what we already know and questions that we want to find out the answers to during our topic.
Reminder: Homework grids for term 3 have been issued to all pupils. Pupils should bring in their chosen completed piece of homework every Monday to receive dojo points and house points. Some activities will be issued once that area has been taught this term and Sumdog challenges will be allocated for dojo points too. Letâs see who can earn all of the points up for grabs! đ
We have collated all of the information we have researched and taken notes on to inform our decisions about the Apollo 11 Moon Landing conspiracy. We have looked closely at sources of evidence, facts and opinions and decided which was the strongest piece of evidence and the weakest. We then had mini debates taking on a role and using the evidence and facts to support our given opinions.
