Primary 5 have been keeping up with the election news on newsround and have been very interested in the PresidentialΒ election, sharing opinions. Some pupils even wrote newsround notes and made a poster at lunch time, we are very happen to see the progress being made with the first female Vice President π πΊπΈ
This afternoon Primary 5 learned about the artist Henri Rousseau and drew some rainforest scenes inspired by his paintings. These drawings created some beautiful borders for our topic wall π

This morning we were defining words related to bonfire night using dictionaries. After maths and PE, we learned more about staying safe on bonfire night and took part in a quiz π
Primary 5 have been testing the effects of different substances on our exploding pumpkins. Some fizzed, changed colour of dissolved but they all made a big mess in the end π
