It therefore came as no surprise to when one of our Primary 4 pupils, Julia, came to me to tell me about a wonderful and self-less gesture she was going to make.<\/p>\n<p>Julia had been growing her hair for numerous months until it was long enough for her to have it cut so she could donate her hair to a charity who would use it to create a wig for someone who had lost their hair due to illness. This is such a kind and thoughtful\u00a0gesture from someone who is so young and sums up the attitude and ethos of the pupils who attend Woodlands Primary and I wanted to share this lovely story with you all.<\/p>\n<p>Julia is now sporting a beautiful new haircut and we are all very proud of her!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What a wonderful school we have, filled with hard working and kind pupils, \u00a0inspiring teachers and supportive parents and carers.
