As part of the health and wellbeing curriculum, we are delighted to announce that we have author, Chris Duke, visiting our school to talk about his book, \u201cLucy\u2019s Blue Day\u201d.<\/p>\n
The book is written to help children understand their emotions, and to encourage mental health awareness.\u00a0 It has received positive comments from the likes of Stephen Fry, Dr Ranj and Lorraine Kelly describing the book as \u201ccharming, and well needed in today\u2019s society.\u201d<\/p>\n
It is accessible for all ages from pre-school through Primary. There is also a Diary version, which is more suited towards the upper years \u2013 early teens.<\/p>\n
Chris will be talking about the book in school to all of our classes, and doing a book signing on the day.<\/p>\n
