It is widely accepted that continual learning takes place within and outwith school. Teaching staff wish to work with parents in supporting this learning in the home and community. Reading is a key skill in enabling your child to learn, and therefore high priority is placed on reading homework across all stages.<\/span><\/div>\n<div align=\"left\"><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Comic Sans MS;font-size: small\">You can help your child develop his\/her reading skills by trying to set aside a quiet time for reading. Asking your child questions about the text and showing an interest in what your child is reading at home all play an important part in motivating your child. Encouragement to read lots of different types of books and texts and giving your child praise for his\/her efforts all help to lay the foundation for lifelong enjoyment of reading. <\/span><\/div>\n<div align=\"left\"><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Comic Sans MS;font-size: small\">Education is continually evolving and changing to meet the ever increasing challenges provided by a technological driven society.
