C.S.I. Whitelees

Today we were investigators and were given the challenge of finding who had stolen the recipe for ‘Fudge Mallow Delight’ from Willy Wonka’s Factory.

We had to use our thinking skills, communicating skills and compare and contrast the evidence we were given.

We had four different pieces of evidence:  a letter from Willy Wonka, staff fingerprints, a torn I.D. Badge, a police witness interview and a grid that showed where the evidence had been found.

We all decided on the same outcome, and that the culprit was the oompa-loompa Jonathan Jumblebum!

It was amazing!!

Fraction Pancakes

We used butter and jam to create fractions on pancakes.

We used only halves and quarters.

I enjoyed making these pancakes because it helped me understand using halves and quarters.  Sophia

I liked when we spread the jam and butter and cut the pancakes into halves and quarters.  Karly

I really enjoyed planning what I would create on my pancake.  Sian D

And the best bit was…we got to eat them when the lesson was finished!
