Science

“Our class is the best in the world because we got to play playground games and I love learning about Maths, like big sums. ” Ross shared.

Busy Week in P4

We began the week by preparing, cooking then eating potatoes grown from our  own Whitelees’ vegetable garden. The wedges were delicious Ross and Shanna said.

Later we celebrated our hard work by three of our class going to the special tea party. Friday afternoon the whole school celebrated the unveiling of a special plaque for our 40th anniversary tree. It encourages us to explore, discover and to understand.

We are carrying out investigations and learning about forces and growth.

Morgan said that plants do lots of things like humans like eat, drink and move.

We’re growing seeds and are observing how to grow them with and without light. Luca mentioned.

Mitchell said we scrubbed potatoes we’d harvested and we’re going to cook them next week!

We scrubbed onions too to make them clean explained Ryan.

Bikability

Skills for Life, Learning and Work

P4 children have been very creative this week in the garden and with art. They made Loral Wreaths, Olympic Torches and carnival face masks.
