Most of us remembered to bring out pea and broad bean plants back to school after taking very good care of them over the holidays. We are all impressed as to how much some of them have grown. We can’t wait to see how they will grow now we have them back at school.
We have started term 3 with a bang in Primary 4! We are raring to go and can’t wait to learn even more.
We have been learning about a famous Scot named John Logie Baird and we are amazed at how his invention of the television has changed the world we live in.
It came as a huge surprise to us that televisions used to look very different to the way they look now, and that they didn’t used to have colour or sound! Someone even asked Mrs Wightman how she coped when television was like this!!!!
We even watched a Charlie Chaplin film to see what Mrs Wightman was talking about. It was really funny and it really showed how there was no need for talking in films.
